After years of being pain free I recently experienced severe back pain. Apprehensive about treatment I reluctantly paid John a visit. He talked me through the whole treatment, put my mind at rest and I left my first visit pain free. I would have no reservation in recommending John Stewart and Future Proof Care. They have been absolutely first class.

I have been seeing John Stewart at this Practice for many years.I have a problem with my back and John's treatment has enabledme to lead an active life in my 70s.I had a hip replacement in 2019 which John diagnosed that I needed and he helped me tremendously with my recovery.I see him once a month and his treatments mean that I can do all the activities I enjoy. Without this I know that would not be possible!All the people working at the Practice are lovely and I have come to regard them as friends as well as therapists.I would recommend this Practice to everyone.

Accident related injury's and after many failed attempts of physiotherapy (Many), FPC was mentioned by a colleague and I can honestly say it was the best decision I made! I made more progress with John Stewart within two sessions than the 10+ sessions in Physio and with the amazing support from John and Chidi brought me back into a positive mindset in achieving normality again. There is always an amazing positive energy in FPC and the staff there are very welcoming/ friendly and the environment is bright, warming and extremely clean. I have been a patient of John Stewart's for 15 years now and in that time have gone through both complex injury/recovery treatment and routine care for a form of arthritis, with superb results. I would personally like to sincerely thank John for getting me back active in a very short period of time. John is my go to whenever I return to the UK to visit family, from the Middle East to Canada. I unfortunately give him limited time to assist me and every time he somehow manages to get me back active and mobile. This time he not only relieved my debilitating acute lumbar back pain but an ankle pain/discomfort that had been bothering me for months that I hadn't reported during my clinical assessment is alleviated. I joined this practice on the recommendation of a family member currently receiving treatment there. From the outset, the welcome at reception served as benchmark for the treatment that followed. Kind, courteous, sincere and welcoming. John was quick to pinpoint the areas giving me trouble, which correlated to the areas I felt were giving me pain. The treatment was very well given, at no point did I feel any trepidation or apprehension. There was no awkwardness when being treated despite being folded, twisted and pulled in all directions. I can honestly say that the treatment was worth it. I feel much stronger in my stance, my spine feels strengthened and I’m standing straighter. Overall, my body feels much looser and no so tight and I feel more informed about what causes the problems we so often neglect. If you’re having any issues and think you need to someone, I couldn’t recommend John and Future Proof Care any higher.

After struggling with back issues for a number of years i asked a friend to recommend a chiropractor as he’d recently come back from an injury to continue playing racket ball.I was due to go skiing in 3 weeks and was never going to be able with the pain i was in.John squeezed me in the next day and after discussing the problem and way forward he treated me 4 times over the next 3 weeks.The improvement was amazing, i was given minor stretches to do between sessions and while away skiing.Ironically the ski season was cut short and i only got 1 day due to COVID.I have continued to be treated, once reopen and the sessions are getting further apart (now every 10 weeks).I’m able to play sport, run ( needed to lose a few according to john) and cycle.With any luck the ski season will be on and ill be fit and ready.Well worth the investment, I’m a convert and will carry on going regularly to keep age at bay.Thanks for your help and all the best for the futureproof.Gooders

Have been seeing John the osteopath at FPC for about 6 months following a ruptured disc. The whole team is fantastic warm, welcoming and flexible when you need to reschedule. John has been fantastic at getting the alignment back, helping me manage pain and generally making me more flexible (especially my dodgy knees). He has loads of techniques at his disposal, including acupuncture, recommend highly to anyone in pain.

Upon recommendation I have been a client of John Stewart's for several years. I hold him in utmost esteem as there have been occasions when I have been barely able to walk or sit, yet he has always provided prompt appointments, listened, identified the issue and then set about correcting it. In my opinion John is able to create a great client / professional relationship whereby he can glean information that assists him in being able to maintain my healthy back. I have been using John Stewarts clinic for several years now, with an ageing body of 72 and suffering from wear and tear of knees and hips caused through sport, John is keeping this frame still able to play tennis (be it badly but still enjoying) and defying replacing knees and hips, well done John, I would be sitting on the settee with the remote control without your help.

I have been having treatment from John Stewart on and off for a few years following two slipped disc operations and each time he has given treatment that relieves the pain in my lower back and numbness in my left foot.Then 3 years ago I had a bad fall and displaced my pelvis, the pain was excruciating and my left foot was completely numb. I had difficulty walking or standing for any length of time, but John at Future Proof Care fixed it.I am now trouble free thanks to John’s expertise and a program of maintenance appointments.The clinic is so welcoming and treat you as an individual, making an appointment is easy and in an emergency they can fit you in.I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful treatment I have received to date and will continue to do so.In the distant past, I have had occasion to use oesteopaths but have never received the success rate that Future Proof Care delivers.

John Stewart is an excellent osteopath. He has looked after me for some years now; seeing me through some tricky times, both physically and mentally. His calm, thorough approach always puts me at ease. As well as osteopathy, I have also had acupuncture on several occasions, resulting in both procedures working well.
