Sports injuries can occur as a result of a sudden impact or an awkward movement, not warming up or cooling down properly, overtraining and pushing your body beyond its limits, incorrect stretching technique, poor exercise technique or inadequate equipment. Whether you are amateur or professional, repeated stresses from participating in sports over time can progressively reduce the body’s ability to function optimally thereby affecting its performance.
